Ink Blot Blues

Note that the scribe had to stop and change the ink they had been using about halfway through the manuscript.  I find moments like this as simple evidence against "straightforwardness" as a trope among Medieval Manuscripts.

Note that John Arnott stopped halfway through UCR 007 in order to stop and change ink.  In what sense can we see this as pushing back against the notion of of Almanac as straightforward.
