Description

A figure holds the lens of the camera and captures themselves in the mirror like state brought on by the interaction of light with the reflective plastic cover of the manuscript. The care the archive has taken to preserve has also prevented the reader from interacting and engaging fully with the text. For the sighted, this can be an experience of life as a non-sighted person. The reflective surface of the manuscript serving to blind the sighted subject.
